 I provide a one on one service and I show you what I do. Unfortunately the couple never saw their PC during the fix. I can do the repair at your home or at the office, that choice is yours. However if you're requiring for me to build a new PC, then I strongly recommend I do it at the office. I am here to help you learn what your PC is trying to do for you, example you take pictures from your new digital camera, you plug your USB cable in and you send all the pictures from the camera on to PC, and now you can't find them on your PC. Situations like this happen all the time especially the new cameras. They create their own folders on your PC but the booklet doesn't tell you there is a simple solution for this. I hear you cry, that's easy for you to say. Yes, it will be, for you too, when I show you. If I show you instead of telling you it is easy for you to follow, and then I get you to do it.

About Us
The reason I started this company was that I would see and hear the horror stories of people getting ripped off. A couple bought a PC they take it home for 2 weeks and for some reason it crashes, they bring back to where they had bought it. The retailer has repair service onsite. The PC was under 1 year warranty. However, it was for the PC itself (NOT INCLUDING SOFTWARE) so if the hard drive crashed or power supply went they would of been fine, but infuriately for them it was software problem, which the warranty does not cover. The retailer would not exchange the PC. According to them the hardware was ok. Secondly the retailer said you always reformat the PC yourself. That was no good to them because like most PC's today you have to make your own back up copy to restore your PC back to the beginning.The couple did not know and never even thought about back up  copy. So the only solution they had was to spend more money at the store to get it repaired. Unfortunately the couple got charged twice, once for the initial look of the PC. Second to get the PC reformatted.

My name is Samuel Williams.
This business will be running for 1 year in Feb.
I have been fixing,and repairing PC's for 6 years and the Computer Industry has changed a lot.The repair side has a little, i.e.the calling centre  1-800 help desk. Not always helpful since most companies help desks are not always in this country. I basically am serving the Dutchess County Area but will travel, within reason. My qualifications for PC repair are from the United Kingdom, I have City & Guilds Levels 2 & 3 in Computer Maintenance

23th October 2009 Moved to our present location. Next February Will be our 3rd Year anniversary in business.
 



May 3rd 2010  PC Helper and At Home Computer Care have joined forces. Today I met Mark Anderson President/Technician and we spoke about customer care given. We both agrees as to what the big stores are doing and we seemed to have the same ideas and practices. You maybe asking why would you find another computer repair company. Well as most of you know i don't deal with repair and fix laptops, and finding some locally will benefit all. So for those who have Laptop that need repair i.e. new screens or keys missing from your laptop, Then i will refer your repair needs to Mr. Mark Anderson.
